U12/13 Team wins Leinster
he Kilkenny boys u12/13 team of six won the Leinster final defeating their close rivals from Carlow. Brian Mahon and Padraig Cooney were first into the Alley and established a 22 ace lead. Emet Landy and Niall Walsh had a difficult game against a very good Carlow pair leaving Kilkenny with a 13 ace lead going into the last match. The final pairing of Conor Dugan and Sean Carey gave a great display of handball to close out the match 15-2. Subs John Walsh and Killian Dunphy

Ciara Mahon was beaten in the All Ireland ladies junior singles final. It was a terrific game with the Donegal girl Avril McNamee winning the first game 21-13, In the second game Ciara staged a terrific fightback, Avril was leading 19 - 15, however a determined battle by Ciara won the game 21-19. The third game was another great game. The two hour marathon ended with Avril winning 21-13
