Eoghan wins Consolation Final

Eoghan Hennessy represented Ireland at the 'USHA National Junior 4-Wall Championships'

Kilkenny’s Eoghan Hennessy also put in a gusty performance in the 15 and Under Doubles finals but was defeated by a strong Canadian partnership of John Audet and Daniel Cordova.

Eoghan Hennessy lost out in his quarter-final singles game to the tournament winner Eric Matiasek

In the consolation finals, Eoghan Hennessy recorded a victory.

Billy love was elected chairman of the Kilkenny handball board this evening. Billy is the first Clogh person to hold this honoured position. We wish him well in his new position and we know that Kilkenny handball is in safe hands

60x30 Interprovincial 2007

The Ladies U13-U17 Interprovincail was hosted by Ballina in Tipperary. On a bitterly Cold day the games kicked off at 11 a.m. with Connaught & Leinster in the Semi-Final. Leinster got off to a great start in the U13 Ciara Mahon & Mary Phelan beating Ciara ni Churrain & Sara Coleman 28-16. Connaught made a great comeback in U14 & U15 winning 30-11 & 30-7. In U16 Leinster once again made a comeback winning 30-17 but in U 17 Connaught won 30-10 making it a Connaughtwin by 123 -86 to earn a place against Munster in the final.

Connaught defeated Munster in the final 110-93

Leinster team: Ciara Mahon & Mary Phelan, Claire Mulholland & Elaine Egan, Sandra Kelly & Aoife Mc Carthy, Louise Walsh & Rebecca Mulholland, Shauna Hilley & Amanda Kelly.

Eoghan and Padraig Colleges Champions

Eoghan Hennessy and Padraig Maher continue in their successful run in the colleges adding the 60x30 Intermediate title to their 40x20 Junior title earlier this year.

Eoghan Henessy has successfully played his way on to the Irish team for the US Nationals He will be spending Christmas in the States. The team captain of the Irish team is Duxie Walsh

Ciara and Mary pipped in U14 All Ireland Final

Ciara Mahon and Mary Phelan were beaten in the final by Aisling O’Keeffe and Caitríona Casey in a closely contested game.

Ronan Egan u12 Champion

Ronan Egan had a very successful run in the u12 60x30 championship winning the county final

He was also a member of the Kilkenny u12/13 team which lost to Carlow in the Leinster final.

Pat Maher and Duxie win Doubles

This pair continue with their doubles success at Masters, adding another title to their collection The pair have won both the 40x20 and 60x30 this year

Padraig Maher and Paul Holden Pipped in U15 final

Paul Holden and Padraig Maher were pipped in the tie break

U11 Champions

Brian Mahon and Shane Walsh won the 60x30 and 40x20 county doubles but were defeated in the final of the Leinster Tournament

Brainain Buggy on team in Final

Brainain was a member of the 60x30 15/16 Kilkenny team beaten in the final. the team consisted Michael Conville, Brainain Buggy, Cian Ryan, Sean Foley, Keith Walsh and Shane Walsh

Billy Love FBD Coach of the year

Billy Love was named coach of the year at the FBD Presentation night. This award was recognition of his dedication and success as a coach and mentor over the last number of years. The juveniles in this club are lucky to have such a skilled coach.

Clogh girls reach final of Féile na nGael

The Clogh Girls Féile na nGael team reached the division 1 final. They were beaten in the final by Ballydesmond Ciara Mahon won silver in the skills competition

Ciara Mahon U14 Singles 60*30 Champion

Ciara Mahon won the County u14 60x30 singles.

She also won the County and Leinster Cumann na mBunscol u13 competition.

Mary Phelan U15 60x30 Singles Kilkenny Champion

Mary Phelan won the County U15 60x30 singles and also the U14 40x20 County Championship

U16 doubles Champions 60x30

Padraig Maher and Eoghan Hennessy won the under 16 doubles title in the 60x30 alley

Mark Purcell and Pauric Cooney win u10b Doubles

The lads combined to win in a convincing manner
